What I Learned About Winning Bigger by Rewiring the Subconscious Mind

What if the thing holding you back from 8-figure growth isn't your funnel… but your subconscious?

That’s exactly what I realized after reading a book that completely rewired how I think about business strategy, success, and my own internal limits.

In this episode, I break down how one of the most powerful shifts I’ve ever experienced didn’t come from a new tactic—but from finally understanding how the subconscious mind drives everything behind the scenes.

Why Most Business Strategy Fails

If you're an entrepreneur trying to break into the next level—7 figures, 8 figures, beyond—you're probably doing what I did: chasing tactics.

You tweak your webinar. You change your offer. You launch a new funnel. But the needle barely moves.

Why?

Because you're optimizing the wrong system.

Your subconscious beliefs about money, identity, and growth are the operating system behind every decision you make in business.

You can’t scale your business if you’re still running 6-figure programming in an 8-figure world.

The Book That Broke My Brain (In the Best Way)

While cleaning out an old storage unit, I came across a book called The Subconscious Mind in Business.

It wasn’t sexy. No big branding. But within a few pages, I was hooked.

The book broke down something I’d seen in my entrepreneur coaching clients—and in myself—but had never put into words:

“You can’t out-hustle your subconscious.”

You might want more success… but if your subconscious believes you’re capped at a certain income, influence, or identity—then you’ll keep hitting invisible ceilings.

This isn’t woo-woo. It’s wiring.

What Is the Subconscious Mind—and Why Does It Matter in Business?

Your subconscious mind is like a loyal but outdated assistant.

It doesn’t reason. It doesn’t judge. It just follows scripts—scripts that were mostly written before you turned 10 years old.

Think about this:

  • If you grew up hearing “money doesn’t grow on trees”…
  • Or “rich people are greedy”…
  • Or “you have to work hard to deserve success”…

...then your subconscious built rules around those beliefs. And those rules don’t just live in your brain—they shape your business strategy.

That means even the best funnel in the world won’t work…

if your subconscious doesn’t believe you deserve to win.

How This Shows Up in Your Business (And Mine)

When I was trying to scale from 7 to 8 figures, I kept getting stuck.

Logically, I had everything:

  • Traffic
  • Offers
  • Great customers
  • A growing team

But I kept self-sabotaging:

  • I’d delay launching things I knew would work
  • I’d overthink decisions
  • I’d resist making high-level hires or investments

It felt like a ceiling. But now I know it was a script.

Rewriting the Internal Script: A Strategy Shift

Here’s what I learned from the book (and from doing the hard work afterward):

You must locate the subconscious belief

Ask:

What would someone have to believe in order to keep doing what I’m doing?”

If you’re stuck, your subconscious probably thinks:

  • "More money = more stress”
  • “If I grow, I’ll lose control”
  • “I don’t deserve to be that visible"

Once you spot the belief, you can shift it.

Rewire it through repetition + emotion

You can’t just think new thoughts. You have to feel them.

Reprogramming the subconscious means:

  • Daily repetition of new beliefs
  • Anchoring those beliefs with emotional states
  • Visualizing outcomes as if they’ve already happened

This is where entrepreneur coaching and identity work go hand in hand.

Align your business strategy with your new identity

Once your beliefs shift, your strategy has to grow with them.

That means:

  • Bigger moves
  • Bolder offers
  • Systems that support scale—not just survival

I used to think this part came first.

Now I know: it comes last—after the internal work.

Why This Matters for Entrepreneurs in 2025 and Beyond

AI is changing content.

Funnels are getting more competitive.

Ads are more expensive.

But your greatest edge?

It’s not a hack or tool—it’s how deeply your identity supports the level of success you’re building toward.

If you’re serious about scaling a business, your subconscious mind isn’t just part of the journey.

It’s the driver’s seat.

The Book I Recommend (and Why You Won’t Find It Easily)

The book that sparked this shift is rare, out of print, and probably sitting in some storage unit like mine.

But here’s what matters:

  • The principles are timeless
  • The work is internal
  • The growth is exponential

If you’re doing innovative marketing strategies, running launches, scaling a team, or trying to leap from 6 to 8 figures—this work can’t wait.

I’ve changed my daily routines, my journaling, my visualization—and the ripple effect has hit every area of my business.

Final Thoughts: The Internal Funnel

I often teach funnel strategy from the outside in:

  • Hook
  • Story
  • Offer

But when you flip that funnel inward, the order is:

  • Belief
  • Identity
  • Action

If you get stuck on step 3, it's probably not your copy.

 It's your code.

Through conscious repetition, emotional anchoring, visualization, and surrounding themselves with people who reinforce the new identity.

What are signs you're hitting a subconscious ceiling?

Repeating income plateaus, procrastination, fear of visibility, hiring resistance, and avoiding investments in growth.

Is this relevant for early-stage entrepreneurs too?
