ave you ever wondered what it would take to generate $1 million in sales in a single day? Four years ago, Eileen Wilder was completely new to online marketing, working as a pastor with barely any understanding of digital sales. Today, she's achieved the seemingly impossible milestone of generating $1 million in a single day—and she's done it TWICE.
I recently sat down with Eileen to uncover exactly how she made this extraordinary leap, and the strategies she used to dramatically increase sales online.
This game-changing episode reveals:
When I first met Eileen at Funnel Hacking Live four years ago, she was sitting in the back of the room, confused by all the marketing terminology. She had been a pastor in nonprofit ministry for 18 years with no experience in online business.
What happened next is a perfect example of how taking immediate action can transform your results. While many people attend events and then do nothing, Eileen went home and immediately created what she calls a "janky video" in her bedroom using just her iPhone.
This simple action led to her first sales—and launched her journey to becoming a sales expert who now commands $250,000 for a single day of her time.
The first major breakthrough in Eileen's journey came from what she calls "increasing my conviction"—a powerful strategy for how to increase sales online:
"I kept increasing my conviction, like, almost every couple phone calls. So I would be like, okay, it's $297, then I'd double it to $600, then $1,200. I kept going until $4-6K. I was selling the same package I was for $297 at $6K within a couple of weeks."
What's fascinating is that she discovered her clients were actually happier paying the higher prices. They were more committed, got better results, and valued her knowledge more highly.
"Before I ever show them how much my solution costs if they say yes, I show them how much it costs to say no to my solution."
As Eileen's business grew, she hit the classic bottleneck of exhausting one-on-one sales calls. Her solution transformed her business:
"Not selling one-to-one, but selling one-to-many will make it go faster. So now it's like I'm having one sales conversation, but I'm having it with 20, 40, 100, 200 people at once."
Her first attempt at a group sales presentation was modest but incredibly effective—just 12 people in a room, but she closed 6 sales at her high-ticket price point, generating $108,000 in a single day.
"It was my first six-figure day," she told me. "I turned to my husband—he was still Uber driving to support us—and I was like, 'This is it, you can quit! It's high ticket and it's one-to-many. It's the fastest path.'"
With high-ticket offers and one-to-many selling mastered, Eileen set her sights on the million-dollar day. Rather than seeing it as an impossible dream, she approached it mathematically:
"To do $1 million in a day, it's like 34 sales at $30,000 each. So I needed to get enough people in the room where I could sell 34 people at this price point."
She reverse-engineered exactly how many attendees she'd need in her sales webinar to achieve this goal, and then focused all her energy on filling that room.
"The clients just want the end result, so they don't care if it's $6,000 or $30,000. They're like, 'Can you help me?' As soon as we did that, 34 people came right in, and that was it."
When I asked Eileen what it felt like to achieve her first million-dollar day, her answer revealed a profound insight for all business owners:
"The epiphany goes off in your mind when you do $1 million in a day. You think to yourself, 'What have I been doing with all the other days of my life?' What have I been focusing on in my business that isn't collecting people in a room to present an offer?"
This highlights a crucial truth about business growth strategies: often, we get caught up in minor details instead of focusing on the high-leverage activities that actually drive revenue.
"There's probably four days a year where I make the majority of my money. And then the other 361 days, I don't know what I'm doing!"
What's even more remarkable is that Eileen now has a $250,000 offer—and people are buying it. The most surprising aspect? The fulfillment isn't a year-long commitment; it's a one-day experience.
Her approach comes down to a simple value equation: "If I can make someone $1 million, they would gladly trade me $250K for that million dollars."
One counterintuitive benefit of high-ticket offers is the quality of clients you attract. As Eileen discovered, higher-paying clients are typically easier to work with:
"The high-ticket clients are the best. You actually enjoy them. They're so much fun."
This has been my experience as well. Generally, the people signing up for free trials or low-priced offers tend to require more support than those investing tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Eileen's journey provides a clear roadmap for anyone looking to dramatically increase their online sales:
What's next for Eileen? "My goal is to scale to $100 million, but while working less than part-time. I love leverage, I love space, I love time, I love high ticket, and I love selling one-to-many."

While most people won't hit a million-dollar day right away, Eileen went from her first $297 sale to a million-dollar day in just four years. The key is following a progression: master high-ticket selling, transition to one-to-many presentations, and continually increase your pricing.
Surprisingly, no. Eileen's first six-figure day came from a room with just 12 people. For her million-dollar day, she needed just 34 buyers at $30,000 each. It's about having the right audience and a compelling offer, not necessarily a large one.
Eileen found the opposite to be true. As she raised her prices from $297 to $6,000 for the same offer, her clients were actually happier. Higher prices often lead to more committed clients who value your expertise more and get better results.
It comes down to value exchange. If you can help someone make $1 million or more, they'll gladly pay $250,000 for that result. Focus on delivering massive, transformative value in a concentrated format, rather than stretching out delivery over months.
According to Eileen, it's focusing on the wrong activities. Most entrepreneurs spend 361 days a year on tasks that don't directly generate revenue, and only 4 days on high-leverage sales activities.
Your Million-Dollar Day Starts With Belief
The most important takeaway from my conversation with Eileen is that these results are achievable for anyone willing to follow the process.
"The biggest key is just believing it's actually possible for you," Eileen emphasized. "At first, your abilities might not be there yet, which is why you have to start on this process."
Just as Roger Bannister broke the 4-minute mile and suddenly thousands of others could do it too, seeing Eileen's achievement should expand what you believe is possible in your own business.
